200 Years in the Making Time Capsule Dedication

Join the Washington County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 9:00 am as they celebrate the Washington County Bicentennial with a special time capsule dedication ceremony. This event, titled "200 Years in the Making," will commemorate our community’s rich history and preserve memories for future generations.
The Vernon High School FBLA will collect items for the time capsule, which will be buried during the ceremony. A marble monument and burial box were provided by Brown Funeral Home and Southern Vault & Monument.
